Name of customer:Damian & Lorraine Hinkin
Date of holiday: 23rd-30th April 2011
NationalityUK -South Wales
No. of persons fishing: 2
Brief details of your catches:
Catches started off weighing in small but after day 3 it did pick up and we started to see the heavier fish. Caught many for the keep net but that is positive to get them out.
Marc(We did net this Jan to remove fish under 10lb but some do slip the nets so if and when there banked they go in the keep net and on to our stock pond off site)(With 610.7lbs of fish..it was a slower week for the guys with no big lumps out..this was the damage for their week..37 fish..2 sturgeon..2 tench..11 mirrors..22 commons
Lorraine banked 11 fish with (2) 20's the best at 24lb and a total of 145.3lbs
Damian netted 26 fish with (11) 20's and his best a 31.1lbs mirror for the fish of the week with a total of 465.4lbs we hope to see you guy's on our banks again one day.."you have some unfinished business.")DamianLorraine What did you find were the best tactics/baits? Little and often with mixed particles and boilies popped up worked well (yellow) Boilie tipped with corn.
Marc(Damians home made boilies (darker reds) worked well for him.. but so far this year we are seeing dark baits are slowing the catch rate down some) Were the facilities what you expected? The facilities were more than we expected, 3 pin plug sockets, hanging area for clothes, washing line, TV and entertainment and a lovely welcome pack :-)
Were you happy with them?We were both very happy with the standard and the attention to detail has paid off
Would you recommend our venue to a friend? Definitely Thank you to you all for making us welcome
General comments: A little disappointed to catch so many of the smaller fish but we still had a great time to relax and catch our breath from the rat race.
A few bigger fish and its “Paradise Found”
We also want to thank Marc for doing everything he could to help us and not even making us feel a pain in the neck, even when we called him out at stupid o’clock.
Best regards Lorraine & Damian
