Has any one tried the berkley trilene fluorocarbon as its seems a good price but wondered if its a good sinking line as i want to fish with slack lines.Any feedback would be good.

ive used both x-line and the new ultima pure power in a weedy green, both excellent flurocarbon lines.. but theres a new braid with added fluro that sinks made by spiderwire..my m8 rates it very highly..

Hi John,

no, I've not tried it, I use X-line and it sinks like a stone and I can recommend it for slack line fishing too.

the ultima is as good as x-line,and better for casting in 14lbs, the weedy green completely dissapears a lot better than the clear!
